Slack

What it does.

  • Any channel

Public channels, or private ones once you type /invite @Xenpai in them.

  • Buttons for your steps

Up to five buttons, like Approve, Needs info or Decline, from the steps your form uses.

  • Emails go out for you

A press moves the submission and sends that step's emails, just like deciding in Xenpai.

  • Only your team decides

Presses count only from people on your Xenpai team, matched by their Slack email.

  • A clear record

Once someone decides, the buttons are replaced by what was decided and by whom.

  • More than new arrivals

Post when something is paid or changes step too, not only when it arrives.

Works well for

Part of the whole process.

Questions

Who can press the buttons?

People on your Xenpai team as staff or owners, matched by the email on their Slack account. Anyone else sees a note, only to them, saying they can't decide.

Can Xenpai post in a private channel?

Yes. Type /invite @Xenpai in the channel first.

Does Xenpai read our conversations?

No. It posts messages, lists your channels so you can pick one, and reads the email of whoever presses a button.

How do I connect Slack?

In Xenpai, open Settings, then Connections, and press Connect next to Slack. You do it once for your workspace; then just ask for it in the chat.

Just ask.

Describe it in one message. Xenpai takes care of the rest.
