Dropbox

What it does.

  • A folder per submission

Named after any answer, like the group's or the company's name.

  • Each file once

Every upload is copied once, even when the submission changes later.

  • Its own folder only

Xenpai works in Apps / Xenpai in your Dropbox. The rest of your Dropbox stays private.

  • Your deletions respected

Delete a copy in Dropbox and it stays deleted. The submission's page shows what's gone and can copy it again.

  • Originals kept

Every upload also stays in Xenpai's Files library, so nothing is lost if a copy is deleted.

  • Dropbox, Drive or both

Copy uploads to Dropbox, to Google Drive, or to both at once.

Works well for

Part of the whole process.

Questions

Can Xenpai see the rest of my Dropbox?

No. It only has its own app folder, Apps / Xenpai.

What happens if I delete a file in Dropbox?

It stays deleted, and the submission in Xenpai doesn't change. Its page shows the copy was removed, with a button to copy it again.

What if my Dropbox is full?

Xenpai tells you and waits. Free up space, then press Retry.

How do I connect Dropbox?

In Xenpai, open Settings, then Connections, and press Connect next to Dropbox. You do it once for your workspace; then just ask for it in the chat.

Just ask.

Describe it in one message. Xenpai takes care of the rest.
